ln the words of Curtis Mayfield, you gotta move on up… so we did. After 30 years on Darblay St, our salon has moved and expanded into a first floor studio on the legendary Wardour Street.
Why you may ask? Well, we needed more room and we also like the privacy and need to know aspect of the new location. A throwback from the old 'speakeasy' days of Soho. The interior design has been influenced by the original shop with its wall to wall deco tiling, and 30s influenced fixtures and fittings but with a cleaner, brighter, crisp edge.
Feedback from salon clients has been wonderful; they love the calm vibe of the place and after a cut, cuppa and a good old natter. They feel like they have had a real respite from the hustle and bustle of Soho.
Comedian Julian Clary, a regular fish salon client, loved the new gaff and said “it was nice we had brought a little bit of the sole of the old place with us"... excuse the pun!
Come up and see us soon!
